WHAT YOU’LL DO AS AN APPRENTICE WEAVER
- Learn from experienced weavers and skilled colleagues. The majority of the training will be carried out with the company’s assigned experienced staff.
- Participate in classes and any workshops that might take place on-site or off-site.
- Gain knowledge, skills and experience throughout your apprenticeship.
- Learn about the industry we are in.

TRAINING & QUALIFICATION
You will work towards your Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification with the Textile Centre of Excellence, combining specialist learning with hands-on training and experience at Arville.
Day shift: Monday to Friday
5 days, 40 hours per week
(5 × 8-hour days)
Paid weekly – hourly rate.

THE APPRENTICESHIP
Not like they used to be – probably only running over 2 years (depending on age).
You will complete your Level 2 Apprenticeship with the Textile Centre of Excellence.
You will gain knowledge, skills and experience throughout your apprenticeship.
YOUR PAY PROGRESSION
STARTING AT 16/17 YEARS OLD
£9.00 per hour
£1 above Government rate
AT 18 YEARS OLD
£10.85 per hour
Approx.
AFTER 2 YEARS
Once you have completed your Level 2 Apprenticeship, if successful:
£13.14 per hour
You will move onto our pay grade system.
