MEMBERSHIP

MEMBERSHIP OF THE TCoE:

The TCoE is a not for profit, industry owned training company. Membership is a vital part of the Centre’s offer as it allows businesses to access a range of products and services as discounted rates. We actively encourage all textile manufacturers to consider membership of the Centre.

Membership also provides a community, while being part of a membership community grants you support, advice and guidance across the sector and brokers access to the manufacturing supply chain. The Centre has approximately 90 textile manufacturing member firms.

BENEFITS OF BEING A MEMBER:

  • Discounted prices on products and services, including courses and consultancy.
  • Access to grant support through various schemes and programmes.
  • Free job vacancy support including advertising on our website.
  • Member spotlight feature via our newsletter, website & social media.
  • Regular updates on sector-related events, opportunities and funding.
  • Opportunities to attend a range of events throughout the year.
  • Access to the centre’s training facilities at discounted rates.
  • Access to the Fashion Studio Academy to support business needs.
  • Opportunities to utilise TCoE funding streams for sector related activity. This can include funding for training courses, generally between 50% and up to 100% in some cases, subject to availability. Members will be provided with priority access to funding.
  • Apprenticeship support from creating bespoke training around your organisation, through to recruitment and on-boarding.
  • A free skills assessment with our skills development team.
  • Free health & safety training day for TCoE apprentices.
  • Authorised use of the centre’s logos for the Centre on Letterheads and formal documents.

STRATEGIC INVOLVEMENT:

Being a member provide your business with the following:

  • A representative from your company to sit on the Centre’s Management Committee, providing guidance and representation for your organisation’s interests.
  • Full voting rights at our AGM on Board Director nominations and approvals.
  • Ensuring that the Centre represents the best interests of the manufacturers across the sector.
  • Federated membership of the UKFT – the UK voice for the industry.
  • Access to Climate Change Levy programme via UKFT at discounted rates.

HOW MUCH DOES MEMBERSHIP COST:

The Centre offers Full or Associate Membership.

Full Membership is available to textile manufacturers. Associate Membership is available to all other companies with an interest in the sector, subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Fees are based company size. £8 per full time employee per annum + £200 Registration Fee.

(e.g. a business with 10 staff would pay £8 x 10 + £200 = £280 per year, invoice across 4 quarterly payments of £70+VAT)

Associate Membership is based on the same pricing structure but does not entitle companies to vote at the AGM.
