This course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills they need to become first aiders in the workplace. The course offers both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.
It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) Regulations.
This course has a packed schedule, delivered over a three day timescale. The course is accredited and approved by Qualsafe, the awarding organisation for First Aid training.
Our tutors are industry specialists with decades of first aid experience. The course is classroom based and includes ‘first aid simulation’ (practical, hands on examples of how to deal with a variety of first aid situations). This will involve learners undertaking role play with other learners.
Learners attending will be required to complete 2 x multiple choice assessment papers on day 1 and day 3.
Following successful completion, all candidates will receive a Qualsafe accredited certificate.
The duration for this training 3 days, starting at 09.00am and finishing at 4.30pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided throughout the day for all learners.
Delegates are advised to wear comfortable clothing as you will be on the floor practicing CPR, body check & recovery position. Please do not wear a skirt/dress.
