APPRENTICESHIP
At the Textile Centre of Excellence (TCoE), we offer a bespoke Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship designed to equip apprentices with the practical skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to excel in modern laboratory environments.
Our apprenticeship combines hands-on experience with tailored training to ensure learners are ready to support a wide range of laboratory operations across multiple industries including textiles and other areas.

Completing this apprenticeship can lead to roles such as:

- GCSEs in English, Mathematics, and Science at grade 4/C or equivalent.
- Employment in a laboratory or related environment for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

The apprenticeship concludes with an End-Point Assessment (EPA), including:
- Knowledge Test – assessing understanding of scientific principles and laboratory practices.
- Observation with Questioning – evaluating practical skills and application in the workplace.
- Structured Interview – discussing a portfolio of evidence demonstrating competence and achievements.
Successful completion leads to a Level 3 Laboratory Technician qualification, recognised across multiple industries.
