At the Textile Centre of Excellence, we’re proud to celebrate the achievements of talented individuals who are developing the skills needed to shape the future of the textile industry.

One of those individuals is Dean Sharrock, who was named CAPITB Trust Learner of the Year in recognition of his dedication, progress and commitment to developing his career within textiles.

Now working at Wisla Narrow Fabrics Limited, Dean has continued to build on the skills and experience gained throughout his training journey, demonstrating the impact that apprenticeships can have in supporting the next generation of manufacturing professionals.

Recognising achievement and career development

Winning the CAPITB Trust Learner of the Year award was an important milestone for Dean, providing recognition for the hard work and commitment he has shown throughout his apprenticeship.
