It is important to keep up to date with the latest technological advances to ensure that your business delivers better products faster and smarter. To do this, your staff need to be skilled in a wide range of relevant digital solutions to enhance productivity and keep you ahead of your rivals.

This training is fully funded by Skills Connect through the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the West Yorkshire mayor as part of Future Goals. It is open to individuals aged 19+ working in manufacturing and engineering in West Yorkshire.

The programme will start in September 2024 and each learner will attend six half-day workshops over a 12-week period and identify opportunities for further learning. Workshops include:

• The Internet of Things (IoT)/Digital Marketing
• Automating processes and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Immersive Technologies, Virtual and Mixed Reality
• Live process data analytics with sensors to optimise production efficiencies
• Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Digital Simulation
• Understanding Robotics
• Additive manufacturing/3D printing
