JOB VACANCY: Textile Production Coordinator at Bower Roebuck & Co

We’re looking for a highly organised Textile Production Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, have excellent attention to detail and thrive on keeping production running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.

 

The Role

As Textile Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the production process through effective administration, supplier communication and accurate data management. You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers and textile finishers to ensure materials are available and production schedules remain on track.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily communication with yarn suppliers regarding outstanding orders and delivery status
  • Updating and distributing daily production reports, including unconfirmed order reports
  • Carrying out daily yarn stock checks using internal systems
  • Producing supplier performance metrics and reports
  • Managing the yarn shade submission process
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records to support quality standards and accreditations
  • Collating environmental and waste data for audits
  • Producing spreadsheets, reports, tables and graphs using Excel
  • Providing general administrative support to the Supply Chain team

What You’ll Bring

 We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys solving problems.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience using ERP systems or other business management systems
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work independently
  • A flexible, positive approach and willingness to support the wider team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify potential issues before they arise

Desirable

  • Experience working with suppliers or external customers
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or textile environment
  • An understanding of textile production processes

Hours & Pay

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday to Friday
  • £27,000 per annum
