Warehouse Operative

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse operative to work as part of our team in our textile warehouse based in Elland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking, cutting & packing customer orders accurately
• Loading and unloading courier vehicles and containers
• Putting stock away and updating stock records
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Supporting goods-in and despatch operations as required
• Build pallets for shipment, ensuring that items are securely packaged for transport.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse experience
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good numeracy skills
• Ability to use computer systems
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• A team player who can also use their own initiative
• Forklift licence would be advantageous but are not essential

Salary

permanent full time position with Company pension

£25,500 per annum or relevant salary depending on experience

Hours: 8:15am – 4:45pm Monday to Friday
