Paragon Textiles Ltd is a well established fine worsted commission pattern weaving business based in Huddersfield. They are a commission based fine and fancy worsted pattern weaving business producing top end quality samples for their customers.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Yarn Warehouse Operative to join our small team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the yarn stores.
Your responsibilities will include working within a small team, moving yarns in and out of the yarns stores and receiving yarn deliveries. You will be running the yarn stores to make sure the weaving and warping manufacturing levels are maintained by distributing the correct yarns as required. Once full training is completed, there will be the opportunity to move around the workplace and experience other roles and responsibilities.
Working Pattern:
39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 3.30 pm.
Paid monthly.

- Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and being on your feet for long periods.
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate suggestions for improvements
- Basic IT skills for stock logging and tracking
- Previous experience in the sector would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
Qualifications:
- General secondary education (English and Maths)
- Full training will be given
Additional Information:
- This is an active role that involves being on your feet and moving goods around the site.
