We’re continuing to grow our membership community and are pleased to welcome Verdant Specialty Solutions Halifax Limited as one of our newest member companies at the Textile Centre of Excellence.

Based in Holywell Green, Halifax, Verdant operates a multi-plant production site specialising in the manufacture of surfactants for a wide range of sectors, including personal care, hygiene, and industrial applications. The site holds several key certifications, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, EFfCI, RSPO, Kosher, and Halal — reflecting its commitment to high standards in quality, safety, and sustainability.

The Halifax site produces a range of chemistries such as amine oxides, betaines, sultaines, propionates, amphoacetates, and polyamines. Most recently, the company has enhanced its R&D capabilities with the opening of a newly renovated laboratory, designed to strengthen collaboration between research and production teams and support the delivery of sustainable, high-performance solutions.
