Following on from the overwhelming success of our first cohorts, we are extremely pleased to announce that we have secured a further round of funding for our Skills Bootcamp programme.

After a competitive tender process, we have received confirmation from Kirklees Council that our next stage of Skills Bootcamp delivery can start with immediate effect.

Director of Training, Martin Jenkins said “We’re pleased that Kirklees Council has recognised the key role we play in industry skills development in West Yorkshire. After our first programme was oversubscribed, it’s wonderful to see the Council and the Combined Authority supporting local industries this way”.

In addition to the textile skills bootcamp programmes, the Centre has secured funding to run a leadership and management bootcamp. This will support those in work with career progression as well as enhancing employment opportunities for those seeking employment.

Dates will be out later this week and registrations are now being taken for both programmes.
