We are pleased to be partnering on the inaugural West Yorkshire–Pakistan Trade, Investment and Innovation Summit, taking place on Thursday 12 November 2026, from 10am to 4pm at the University of Bradford.
Organised by West Yorkshire Combined Authority and British Friends of Pakistan, in partnership with the University of Bradford and the Textile Centre of Excellence, the summit will bring together senior leaders from business, government and education.
With a particular focus on textiles and food and drink, the event will explore opportunities to strengthen trade, develop commercial partnerships and support collaboration in research, innovation and skills.
For our sector, it provides an opportunity to connect textile expertise across both regions, share knowledge and explore new manufacturing and supply chain relationships.
The programme will include:
- Discussions with senior UK and Pakistani representatives.
- Sector showcases and focused roundtable sessions.
- Networking and pre-booked one-to-one meetings.
- Opportunities to explore university, research and skills partnerships.
Building on longstanding connections between West Yorkshire and Pakistan, the summit aims to turn shared interests into practical opportunities for businesses and institutions.
