Future Fashion Factory Grants are back!

The Future Fashion Factory has secured £1 million to deliver a further round of grant funding to businesses. This is part of the £15 million trilateral UKRI Circular Fashion and Textile Programme which is being delivered by LITAC (Leeds Institute of Textiles and Colour) and the Future Fashion Factory working in partnership with Innovate UK.

The aim is to enable textile businesses to adopt more sustainable operations, driving the UK to become the global leader in circular fashion and textiles and to best transition towards Net Zero models.

The Future Fashion Factory has supported over 50 company-based innovative R&D projects, where businesses work alongside academic collaborators from a consortium of one of three UK universities:

 University of Leeds

University of Huddersfield

Royal College of Art

Grants of up to £50,000 will be awarded to businesses who successfully meet one or more of the key themes:

Circular Business Models

Novel Technologies

Sustainable Manufacturing

Sustainable Fashion Ecosystem

Diverse and Future-Proof Workforce

Green Growth

For this funding round, please note that the lead applicant must be a small or micro company (less than 50 employees, turnover of under £10.2 million, a balance sheet of not more than £5.1 million.) Projects must start by 1st October 2024 and complete no later than 31st March 2025.
