Production Colleague- Finishing Production Operative (Nights)
Hours of Work:
Initial training (2 months) Monday to Thursday (42 hours per week)
6am – 5pm with 30-minute break
Upon completion of training – Monday to Wednesday 6pm – 6am with 45-minute break; Thursday 5pm (ad hoc, when required)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Wet and Dry Finishing Team. If you enjoy a physical job, working independently and/or being part of a team; this job could be right for you.
Initially, you will undertake a two-month training period (on days) in the Dry finishing area where you will learn all aspects of Dry Finishing machinery.
Following successful completion of training you will then work a night shift covering the machines in Dry Finishing and learning aspects of Wet Finishing machinery, including the tenter.
The role will be that of a multi-skilled operative in the Wet and Dry Finishing department.
Role and Responsibilities:
- You will be trained in duties across multiple machines to provide resource and support where required.
- Working to produce fabric to scheduled deadlines.
- Working as part of the team with the general upkeep of maintenance and housekeeping of the machinery, equipment and department.
- Involvement with continual improvement within the department.
- Upholding all aspects of Health and Safety within the department.
Necessary skills needed for the role:
- Attention to detail when handling and processing pieces
- Ability to clearly follow written and verbal instructions.
- Computer literate
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
- The ability to prioritise and organise your own workload
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a textile manufacturing environment
- Machinery Experience
