Textile Operative (Multiskilled)
Location: Pudsey, Leeds LS28 6DW
Type: Full Time, Permanent, Band 1 Lates
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 14:00pm till 12:00mn with a 30-minute unpaid break
Hourly Rate: £13.97 per hour

The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our fast-paced front-end team. If you enjoy physical job, working independently, have a keen eye for detail and looking for progression; this job could be perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, pick and mend fabric pieces.
- Move pieces around the departments using adequate equipment.
- Operate machines in front end (when needed).
- Liaise with different teams to meet production requirements.
- General housekeeping of the area around the departments and machines.
- Cleaning of the machines and completing machine’s checklists for report back faults.
- Helping colleagues in front end e.g. heavy lifting, cleaning and day to day requirements in a manufacturing environment.
Essential skills needed for the role:
- Computer literate
- Ability to clearly follow written and verbal instructions and record information
- Have a good attention to details
- Strong communication skills
- Inspection, picking & mending of fabrics and recording of data
- Operating textile machines as required.
- The capability to remain calm under pressure
- Collaborative team player.
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
- The ability to prioritise and organise your own workload
