This month, we’re recognising Samantha Turner, an apprentice laboratory technician at Abraham Moon & Sons.

Sammy previously worked in retail while studying fashion design at university. She loves working with colour, so when she came across the apprenticeship at Abraham Moon & Sons, it immediately caught her attention.

“I saw the role and thought, ‘It’s colour, it’s my sort of thing,’” she said.

Sammy had heard of Abraham Moon & Sons during her studies, although she knew little about the company before applying. Her apprenticeship now gives her the opportunity to build on her interest in textiles and colour while developing practical skills in a laboratory role.

Sammy’s tutor, Claire Eaton, has praised her strong work ethic and the commitment she brings to her apprenticeship. It is that dedication, alongside her enthusiasm for the subject, that makes Sammy a deserving Learner of the Month.
