We’re delighted to have been named the Small Business winner in the Community category at the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce’s Raising the Bar Awards 2026.
This award recognises our commitment to supporting people, employers and the wider community through skills development, training and career opportunities.
As an industry-owned, not-for-profit organisation based in Huddersfield, supporting our community is central to everything we do. We help businesses develop their workforce and support people in gaining the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to build rewarding careers.
Creating opportunities through skills
We bring together learners, employers and industry partners, connecting training with the needs of the businesses and sectors we serve.
Through our apprenticeships, technical training and wider workforce development programmes, we support people at different stages of their careers. From those taking their first steps into employment to experienced employees developing specialist skills or preparing for leadership roles, we help people progress.
Our work also helps employers retain valuable expertise, support their teams and develop the next generation of skilled professionals.
A shared achievement
Winning this award is a proud moment for our team and the wider network that makes our work possible.
Our tutors, colleagues, member companies and industry partners all play a part in creating opportunities and strengthening the connection between skills, employment and community. We’re proud that their contribution has been recognised through this award.
We would like to thank the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, everyone involved in the Raising the Bar Awards and Flutter UK & Ireland for hosting such a fantastic evening.
A special thank you goes to Paul Britton for attending and accepting the award on our behalf.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists. We’re proud to be recognised alongside organisations making a positive difference across the region, and we look forward to continuing to develop skills, support employers and create opportunities.
